JCI Bauchi City Boosts JCIN FPTB Revival, Engages New Students at FPTB Orientation
In
a strong demonstration of its commitment to youth development, Junior Chamber
International (JCI) Bauchi City participated in the Orientation and
Matriculation Programme organized by the Federal Polytechnic, Bauchi, for newly
admitted students.
The
event, held on Saturday, 12th April 2025, at the Sports Complex, FPTB, recorded
a remarkable turnout of students, staff, JCI Bauchi City members, and
well-wishers. JCI members seized the opportunity to create awareness about the
mission, vision, and global impact of Junior Chamber International.
The
engagement provided a platform for JCI Bauchi City to inspire and encourage
enrollment into the soon-to-be revitalized JCIN Federal Polytechnic Bauchi
Collegiate Local Organization, marking a key step in reactivating the
collegiate chapter after a period of dormancy.
This
outreach built on an earlier courtesy visit led by the JCI Bauchi City
President, Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo, alongside the JCI Nigeria National Vice
President for North-East District 2, JCIN Amb. Hauwa Musa, which secured
management support for JCIN’s resumption on campus.
Speaking
at the event, President Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo thanked the Federal
Polytechnic Bauchi management for their support and reaffirmed JCI’s commitment
to nurturing responsible citizens and future leaders.
Also
in attendance was the Patron of JCIN FPTB, Hassan Alhaji Hassan, mnipr, who
encouraged students to embrace the opportunities JCI offers.
Highlighting
the day’s activities, JCI Bauchi City set up a free photo and video stand,
offering students professional photographs and social media content,
particularly supporting intending members.
The
Orientation session featured engaging talks, testimonials, and a passionate
membership drive, with 85 students registering interest.
JCI
Bauchi City remains committed to empowering young people, fostering leadership,
and inspiring a new generation of active citizens.
