EMPOWERING WOMEN, DRIVING INNOVATION: JCI TRANS AMADI HOSTS HIGH-IMPACT DIGITAL EMPOWERMENT PROGRAM

In a bold move to advance digital inclusion and leadership development, JCI Trans Amadi, in collaboration with Push to Profit, hosted a highly impactful virtual panel discussion titled “Digital Empowerment: A Virtual Panel on Technology for Innovation, Leadership, and Women’s Business Growth” on Sunday, 22nd March, 2026 via Google Meet.

The event attracted over 80 participants, including young professionals, entrepreneurs, and emerging leaders from across Nigeria, creating a vibrant platform for dialogue on how digital tools can drive innovation, strengthen leadership capacity, and unlock sustainable business opportunities—particularly for women in today’s evolving economy.

Speaking during the session, the 2026 President of JCI Trans Amadi, JCIN Amb. Faith J. Barilera, PhD, emphasized the organization’s commitment to fostering transformative initiatives that equip young people with relevant digital and leadership skills. Her leadership continues to position the chapter as a catalyst for meaningful community impact.

The panel featured renowned experts including Nnenna Okwor, a Creative Strategist and Growth Expert, and Jane Maxwell, Founder of Push to Profit. They shared practical insights on leveraging digital platforms for business visibility, scaling ventures, and navigating opportunities within the digital economy.

The discussion was skillfully moderated by Eze Mercy Eberechi, who guided conversations around innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership in a rapidly evolving technological landscape, ensuring active engagement and knowledge exchange among participants.

The event also attracted notable JCI Nigeria leaders and dignitaries, including JCIN Amb. Omini Dominic, 2026 National Director of Programs and Projects; JCIN Amb. Tajudeen Taiwo Akintunde, 2026 MET Director, Human Duties; JCI Senator George Onuma, Former Executive Secretary of JCI Nigeria; JCIN Amb. Emmanuel Peter, 2026 President of JCI Aso; and JCIN Amb. Olajuyin Olakunle, 2026 National Treasurer.

Participants gained practical knowledge on digital innovation, business growth strategies, and leadership development, while also benefiting from networking opportunities that foster collaboration and idea-sharing.

As part of the event highlights, certificates of appreciation were presented to the panelists for their invaluable contributions, while participants received certificates of participation in recognition of their commitment to learning and personal development.
