JCI Bauchi City Hosts May Assembly Focused on Digital Skills and Leadership for Youth Empowerment

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bauchi City successfully hosted its May General Assembly/Business Meeting on Sunday, 11th May, 2025, at Block A, Room 8, Reinsurance House, Ahmadu Bello Way, Bauchi. The well-attended event brought together members, guests, and key stakeholders under the timely theme: “Technology and Innovation: Empowering Youth through Digital Skills and Leadership for a Rapidly Changing Global World.”

In his opening address, JCI Bauchi City President, Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo, emphasized the need for youth to embrace technology with vision and purpose.

“In a world being reshaped by digital transformation, young leaders must be equipped not only with the tools but also the mindset to lead,” he said.

The keynote address was delivered by Zubairu Jibril, Founder/Executive Director of Zee Tech Foundation, who inspired attendees with insights on how digital empowerment and innovation can drive inclusive growth and opportunity, especially in underserved communities.

The event featured impactful updates on JCI Bauchi City's recent projects, including the 2025 International Workers' Day Celebration, training sessions, and the unveiling of Alh. Mohammed Rabiu Wada, mnipr as the Personality of the Month. Special guest of honour, JCIN Clara Ambrose Difference, Northern Area Director of Skills and Training, delivered a goodwill message emphasizing strategic youth development through skills and mentorship.
