Ties with Academia: Visit to Mallam Hassan Alhaji Hassan
JCI Bauchi City paid a visit to Mallam Hassan Alhaji Hassan, former Dean of General Studies and ex-Head of the Mass Communication Department, Federal Polytechnic Bauchi. President Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo emphasized the importance of collaborations in advancing JCI’s mission of youth empowerment and sustainable impact. Mallam Hassan, expressing his gratitude, assured his continued support for JCI’s initiatives. In recognition of his dedication to education and human rights advocacy, JCIN Amb. Hauwa Musa presented him with the Human Duties Ambassador Award.

Women’s Empowerment: Visit to AID Connect for Development
The leadership of JCI Bauchi City also visited the Executive Director of Aid Connect for Development (AIDCODE), Mrs. Abigail Hardo Adegoke. In acknowledgment of her commitment to empowering women and girls, she was honoured with the Human Duties Ambassador Award. Mrs. Adegoke expressed her appreciation and announced a generous gesture—donating AIDCODE’s board hall for JCI Bauchi City’s general assembly meetings and enrolling all her staff as members.

with Better Life Restoration Initiative (BERI)
JCI Bauchi City also engaged with Dr. Ogadinma Nkem Ogbonna, Executive Director of Better Life Restoration Initiative (BERI), to explore ways of addressing societal challenges such as poverty, hunger, and illiteracy. Dr. Ogbonna pledged full collaboration and was also honoured with the Human Duties Ambassador Award in recognition of his work in human rights advocacy.

Media Partnerships: Visit to NUJ Bauchi
Acknowledging the role of the media in societal development, JCI Bauchi City visited the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Bauchi State Chapter, and engaged with its Chairman, Alh. Umar Sa’idu, mnipr. The visit aimed at fostering collaboration in youth empowerment, ethical journalism, and community engagement. In recognition of his contributions to responsible journalism, Alh. Umar Sa’idu was conferred with the JCI Human Duties Ambassador Award.

Bridges with AABA Life Foundation
In another strategic move, JCI Bauchi City visited AABA Life Foundation (ALFO), engaging with its Chief Executive Officer, Rt. Hon. Aisha Adam Bappa. The discussions centered on leadership training and capacity-building initiatives. Rt. Hon. Bappa expressed her enthusiasm for the collaboration and pledged ALFO’s support for JCI’s programs and upcoming conferences.

To further strengthen media partnerships, JCI Bauchi City visited the Correspondent Chapel, Bauchi State Chapter. The organization presented its 2025 strategic plan, focusing on youth empowerment, community service, and entrepreneurship. The Chapel’s Chairman, Mallam Ahmed Mohammed, welcomed the initiative and pledged support in promoting JCI’s mission.
