JCI Bauchi City Hosts Human Duties Day Celebration, Launches Documentary on Civic Responsibility

JCI Bauchi City, in collaboration with JCI Kano, JCIN Nasarawa State University, and JCIN Jos Prestige Protem, marked the 2025 International Human Duties Day with a powerful virtual event themed “Our Duty to Humanity: Voices for Responsibility” on Thursday, 10th July, 2025.

The event featured the premiere of a short documentary promoting digital civic responsibility and the Seven Pillars of Human Duties. President Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo described the event as “a movement for youth accountability online and offline.”

Notable speakers included Dr. Ogadinma Nkem of BERI, JCI Senator Olabisi Aniso, and JCI Senator Attairu Abdullahi, who all stressed the importance of digital ethics, truth, and visionary leadership. Other remarks came from JCIN Amb. Ayodeji Akinwande, JCIN Amb. Hauwa Musa, and Human Duties Ambassador Mallam Hassan Hassan, who emphasized digital literacy and responsible content creation.

The event concluded with the re-signing of the Human Duties Petition and plans for wider outreach through community screenings and educational partnerships. This initiative aligns with SDGs 4, 16, and 17, and the JCI RISE framework, positioning JCI Bauchi City as a national leader in digital civic advocacy and ethical youth engagement.
