JCI Bauchi City Champions Youth Empowerment through Global BizEdge Bootcamp 2025

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bauchi City recorded another milestone through the Global BizEdge Bootcamp 2025, a four-week virtual capacity-building project organized in collaboration with other chapters to empower young Africans with practical business writing and entrepreneurial skills. The initiative, held from June 1–28, 2025, was jointly implemented by JCI Garden City (Nigeria) and JCI Metro (Zimbabwe), with participation from seven JCI Local Organizations across Africa, including JCI Bauchi City, JCI Victoria Falls, JCI Diwan, JCI Premier, JCI Ota, and JCI Lagos City. The program attracted 369 participants, including over 90 non-JCI members, and focused on business planning, proposal writing, and Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) drafting. Training was delivered through weekly expert-led Zoom sessions, supported by assignments, pitch competitions, and mentorship. On Sunday, 24th August 2025, JCI Bauchi City held its August General Assembly and Business Meeting with the theme “No One Left Behind: Driving Growth, Leadership, and Impact with Inclusivity.” The session, led by 2025 LO President, JCIN Amb. Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo, brought members and leaders together to champion inclusive leadership. President Akintunde emphasized that true growth comes from valuing every voice. JCI Bauchi City, in collaboration with JCI Kano, JCIN Nasarawa State University, and JCIN Jos Prestige Protem, marked the 2025 International Human Duties Day with a powerful virtual event themed “Our Duty to Humanity: Voices for Responsibility” on Thursday, 10th July, 2025. The event featured the premiere of a short documentary promoting digital civic responsibility and the Seven Pillars of Human Duties. The donation was delivered through the Ministry of Humanitarian and Disaster Management, led by Commissioner Hon. Hajara Yakubu Wanka, who was represented by her Senior Special Assistant, Hon. Auwal Abubakar Bukar Birma.
