JCI Bauchi City Empowers New Members Through 2025 Intending Members Training

Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bauchi City has officially launched its 2025 activities with a highly impactful Intending Members Training held on 24th January, 2025, themed: “Unlocking Opportunities for Growth: Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Global Impact with JCI.”

The event attracted 43 participants, including aspiring members, seasoned JCI leaders, and trainers, who gathered to explore the mission, vision, and life-changing opportunities within the global JCI network.

In his welcome address, Tajudeen Taiwo Akintunde, 2025 President of JCI Bauchi City, emphasized the transformative power of JCI. “This training isn’t just an introduction—it’s a launchpad for purposeful leadership, entrepreneurship, and global citizenship,” he stated.

The keynote training was delivered by JCIN Amb. Goodness Morakinyo, 2024 JCI Nigeria Executive Vice President (Northeast), who challenged the participants to think beyond titles and embrace active citizenship as a tool for growth.

“JCI is not just a platform; it’s a mindset. To grow, you must engage, learn, and take action. Leadership begins when you decide to serve with purpose,” he urged.

Clement David Chukwuemeka, 2022 President of JCI Bauchi City, also spoke on the importance of values-driven leadership and moderated the session, which featured practical exercises and group interactions focused on leadership and problem-solving.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from JCIN Amb. Hauwa Musa, 2025 JCI Nigeria Vice President (Northeast District 2), who commended the participants for showing enthusiasm and commitment to self-development.

“This gathering shows the future of JCI is bright. You’ve taken the first step in a journey that leads to personal growth and community transformation,” she said.

President Akintunde extended heartfelt appreciation to all facilitators, participants, and organizing members, reaffirming the organization’s mission to develop enterprising leaders for a better world.
