JCI Bauchi City Trains Child is Gold Foundation Staff on Leadership and Team Building
The Child is Gold Foundation (CIGF) has reaffirmed its commitment to organizational excellence by organizing a Strengthening Leadership Capacity Training for its staff, with Junior Chamber International (JCI) Bauchi City facilitating the session. The training, held on Monday, 25th August 2025, at the Foundation’s office in Bauchi, aimed to equip staff with practical leadership and teamwork skills to boost performance and deepen community impact.
The
session was facilitated by JCIN Amb. Tajudeen Taiwo Akintunde, 2025 President
of JCI Bauchi City, who delivered an engaging presentation on “Leadership
and Team Building in an Organization.” He highlighted the qualities of
effective leaders, the principles of teamwork, and the do’s and don’ts of
leadership, stressing the importance of aligning practices with organizational
goals for long-term growth.
Elizabeth
George-James, Executive Director of CIGF, thanked JCI Bauchi City for the
impactful training, noting it provided staff with essential leadership tools to
enhance delivery and better serve vulnerable children and women across Bauchi
State.
Founded
in 2020, CIGF focuses on health, child protection, education, and women’s
empowerment. With strengthened leadership capacity, its staff are now better
positioned to expand impact and build resilient communities.
