The
2025 JCI Nigeria Northern Conference, held from 7th–10th August in Abuja and
hosted by JCI Abuja Prestige, brought together young leaders, changemakers, and
community advocates across the region for knowledge exchange, networking,
training, and recognition. The highlight was the prestigious Northern Awards
Ceremony, celebrating excellence in leadership, community impact, and
organizational growth.For
JCI Bauchi City, the event was historic as the chapter emerged the most
decorated city chapter in the North, winning five major awards in one night—a
first in its history. The chapter clinched awards for Best JCI RISE Project,
Best Human Duties Project, Best Local Business & Entrepreneurship Program,
Best International Cooperation Project, and Most Outstanding Local President,
won by President JCIN Amb. Akintunde Tajudeen Taiwo. Adding to the honour,
President Akintunde was conferred the prestigious JCIN Ambassadorship,
officially becoming a Life Member.The
conference also featured the graduation of the Northern Leadership Academy
(NLA), where EVP Aishat Adam Bappah proudly graduated, further strengthening
the chapter’s leadership capacity.
Speaking
after the wins, President Akintunde described the awards as a testament to
teamwork and dedication, while EVP Aishat affirmed the chapter’s commitment to
raising the bar.
